The track team competed at the MHSAA Regional Meet at Whitmore Lake on Thursday. The girls' team finished 2nd overall and were led by Harper Peeples who won the 100 meters and the 300 Hurdles and was part of the 800 meter relay team with Taya Bolden, Azriel McCalister, and Mariah Perkins that took 1st. Diamond Cook won the regional title in the shot put. The boys' team finished 6th overall and Paris Rideout won the 200 meter title and the 3200 meter relay team of Jonathan Vasser, Gary Smith, Joseph Stevens, and LaMark Johnson took 1st. The track team qualified 15 runners to the MHSAA State Meet in two weeks which includes Taya Bolden, Diamond Cook, Nia Jones, Mariah Perkins, Harper Peeples, Azriel McCalister, Paris Rideout, Gary Smith, Joseph Stevens, Chris Turner, Roy Haynes, Jonathan Vasser, Ella Clarke, Caramia DeGiulio, and LaMark Johnson.
